Our first stop on the road trip was a little city outside of San Antonio called Seguin. We stopped to see our friends Carol and Steve Sewell in their beautiful new home. Carol really enjoyed playing with Barrett, and we were both excited about our first night away from home!

Barrett was just beginning to crawl at the start of this trip, so he had never experienced wood floors before. He was used to the carpet in his room, so it was pretty cute to watch him try to figure out how to move on these floors!! He kept trying to move like he could on the carpet, and he just kept going backwards and falling over! :-)

Barrett was right at home with Carol. She gave him a bottle and he fell sound asleep in her lap!
Naptime = the perfect time to get on the road, so we headed to our next stop: Austin!
